So they liked it and they put a ring on it... What's next.
Chances are you've gone to a few wedding fayres and/ or bought a few glossy wedding mags and are looking forward to getting into planning 'stuff'. But where do you start? I'm not the wedding oracle but my advice is to Kiss your wedding.. Keep it simple silly!
I've planning my own wedding, been involved in lots of my friends weddings and have been involved in hundreds of client weddings and the best events are ones that have your personality instead of 'things'. Sit down with your partner and discuss how your wedding day looks to you both. What atmosphere do you want.... all eyes on you? or a understated affair? Both are wonderful but make sure that you do YOU.
Don't let any supplier convince you that you NEED the Posh and Becks thrones or the Doves that symbolise goodness knows what! If you want to, elope with 2 close friends... if you want, have a 250 guests and a midnight feast... go for it and by the way can I come??
Don't let anyone decide what is appropriate or not for YOUR day. Make sure it has the final touches that will make it unique to you. Simple things like the favours you choose or the welcome drinks will really show that you have put your mark on it. People may not remember the dessert but they will remember the playlist or the band.
Whatever you do, I am here. Print wise I can help you put your personalities in your Wedding and I also have a great tried and tested supplier list that will not take advantage and who will listen to what you want.
